Yes, I was a delegate...for the first time. I saw Chris Miller for the first time yesterday and I was impressed with his presentation. The 'out of the box' character that he signified was impressive!

I agreed with most of what he said and wished that others at the convention were more appreciative. I heard polite applause when he finished his presentation. I even heard a boo in front of me and I wasn't sure if it was this man's sense of humor, some undisclosed outrage, his stock portfolio or just senility that made him do it.

Mr. Miller has a message that most people from Maine are not ready to hear. I think it will take $10.00 per gallon gas and other tragedies for Mainers to fall in line with Mr. Miller's solutions. He has a vision that most Mainers lack. Give them time, Chris. Come back and talk to them again in a year or two...or three....or five. Who knows when they will be ready?! As long as corporate America controls the agenda and the airways, your message will get short shrift. Don't let that discourage you.

You won't win the primary against Baldacci, but YOU CAN win hearts and minds given TIME! Stay in there and come back to remind us of your 2006 message in a few years when they are more ready.
